Charlottesville Ten Miler

Adam signed up for his first 10-mile race a few months ago and has been training regularly for the big day. Despite a couple of illnesses that interrupted his training schedule, he has been steadily increasing his miles per run and staying in great shape. We have enjoyed running/walking the Thomas Jefferson Parkway together. Adam runs up and down the trail while I walk. I have enjoyed walking while being pregnant - it seems to give me more energy and overall makes me feel well.

The race day was chilly - but that didn't stop over 2,500 from participating. The course ran through campus, downtown, pass the Rotunda, and then ended near our old apartment. Adam's official time was 1:33:11 - which translates to just over 9 minute miles. Way to go Adam!
