Wintergreen - Part 2

While Adam and I were on the slopes, the other crew found a slope that had some man-made snow on it but wasn't open for skiing yet.

Here they are all ready to go...

And here they are in action...

Snowballs:

Carter Sledding:

Ben Belly Sledding:

Carter in a Box:

Ben got his turn in the box too...

Love this picture with the mountains in the background...

Poppa with our boys...

When the boys weren't in the snow..they were hiking. They had a blast finding the red and yellow trail markers on the trees, and hunting for walking sticks, and taking turns being the leader. Here are some of my favorite hiking pictures:

We lost Poppa for a little bit...

But then we found him!

Susan, Ben, and I left one of the hikes a little bit early and had hot chocolate waiting for the rest of the crew when they got back to the house.

Carter added a few extra Christmas marshmallows to his cup.

While the big boys were gone, Ben wasted no time climbing up in the Poppa chair. He looked so proud to have secured this spot all by himself.

We enjoyed swapping presents...all the big boys were eager to help Ben open his presents.

Love this one of Ben...

Carter and Jack really played well together this trip. They sat at this game table for 30+ minutes at a time working on different things together.

And Uncle Warren let Carter play Angry Birds on his iPad. Carter was hooked.

Lots of reading in Poppa's lap...

And we all enjoyed a New Year's Eve bowl game victory too. Although we couldn't cheer too loud since we were in Cavalier territory. :)

We all had a wonderful time in Wintergreen!
