Adam and I rung in the new year a day early. The original plan was for Carter and Mimi to have a date on New Year’s Eve and for Adam and me to go out to a nice dinner and celebrate. But plans changed. At first we’d planned on a big night out. Then we thought we’d just enjoy a nice dinner out on New Year’s Eve. Finally, age and parenthood trumped any exciting plans—we settled on dinner out on New Year’s Eve Eve. That’s right, December 30th.Happy New Year to all. Hope 2009 brings you blessings and joy.
